Kirby Wilkerson is the founder and managing partner of KBW Partners.  He specializes in leading complex consulting engagements with expertise in helping construction materials, energy, and logistics companies solve their most challenging issues.  Kirby has over 25 years of experience in strategic consulting, investment banking, and business development. 

Before launching KBW Partners, Kirby was the Director, U.S. Commercial Development for Source Energy Services (TSE: SHLE) where he led the company’s strategic growth plans in the U.S.   Prior to Source Energy Services, Kirby worked in investment banking for 12+ years for several firms including BDO Capital Partners, Stephens, Inc., D.A. Davidson & Co., and BofA Securities.  Kirby has significant M&A experience having closed in excess of $400 million in transactions in several industries including construction materials, building products, oilfield services, and energy logistics.

Kirby received his MBA from the University of Southern California and his BBA in Finance and Real Estate from Southern Methodist University.
